My boyfriend told me he bought a waffle iron. Well, actually he told me he was looking for a car stereo to put in his Jeep and ended up walking out with the waffle iron. I have a feeling he got the waffle iron because I had previously shown him a photo of a waffle pizza recipe I wanted to try (when I make it, I will post a picture, I promise).
So I woke up and decided to make waffles. I made a mix of cinnamon-sugar and then mixed that into my waffle mix, then VOILA! I did put my waffles on a plate in the oven at 200* as I made them to keep them warm. I made wicked strong coffee, and served my boyfriend breakfast in bed, because I'm that awesome... And because he had already gone out to get me cream for my coffee from his uncle who is a milkman (still sells milk in the glass bottles!) and then washed my dishes as I cooked without being asked-- because he's equally as awesome as I am (I AM the better cook, though).
