Bok Choy, Brussels sprouts and Sesame Ginger teriyaki glazed sirloin steak

  • I marinated my steak over night, and also used a marinade infuser-- a tool which I have not used very much, but sincerely enjoyed.
    • Marinade:
      • 1TBS of ginger paste
      • 4tbs of sesame seed oil
      • 1/2 cup reduce sodium
      • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
    • Mix ingredients together. You may have to add a little extra marmalade or tweak the other ingredients to taste. ***You can also add a little bit of chili oil of you like a little heat.

  • I made my baby bok choy in the same pan as my brussel sprouts, though I put them in the oven for the last 15 minutes of the 35-40 minutes the brussel sprouts need.
  • I put my steak on a grill pan and placed it under the broiler on high (top rack) for about five minutes per side, per inch thick. I like my steak medium, so I did five minutes and three minutes, then took my steak out and let sit (it still cooks for a few moments after you take the meat out of the oven.
