Broiled Salmon and perfectly cooked asparagus

Very simply put, broil 5 minutes per side per each inch for salmon steak under the second to top rack. I like to use fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper. Very simple, very fresh, very moist. I steamed my asparagus in a covered non-stick pan on medium heat for about 8 minutes.

I don't eat seafood, in fact I cannot stand the smell, but considering that this is a dish I won't taste as I cook, it always comes out perfectly without fail. This is the first fish I cooked for my parents as a kid around age 11.

This is a great summer dish, it's also a good way to cook salmon if you decide to fork-flake the fish and put it on toasted bread with some brie and a smokey chutney (I just came up with that this moment), or mix it with bowtie pasta with chopped asparagus (I came up with that just now as well)...
